This book is a brief overview of bedside approach to major neurological disorders. The essential prerequisites of neurological assessment at bedside are good history taking, focused and meticulous neurological examination, knowledge about related anatomy and pathophysiology, and a structured approach to clinical diagnosis. Enough stress has been laid on relevant physiology and neuroanatomy of related disorders which should help the reader in developing basic understanding of the disease. Chapters on clinical approach and case studies are intended to help the readers approach the case in a meticulous and more systematic manner. Lucid flowcharts have been given at appropriate places to make the book interesting to read and help to reproduce the knowledge at bedside. This book is probably an assimilation of the numerous questions and answers that faced during learning and teaching.
