The aim of this book is to focus on the Clinical Diagnosis of Congenital Heart Disease. A congenital heart defect is a problem with the structure of the heart. It is present at birth. Congenital heart defects are the most common type of birth defect. The defects can involve the walls of the heart, the valves of the heart, and the arteries and veins near the heart. This book is divided into 3 parts that covers basics of congenital heart disease, acyanotic lesions, cyanotic lesions, and miscellaneous, which are further divided into 42 chapters. The strength of this book has been its lucid description of basics with emphasis on clinical aspect. Major changes has been done in echocardiography and approach to management with new illustrations and figures with an effort to be concise in providing scientific information relevant in day-to-day management aiding in clinical diagnosis, investigation, and treatment. All effort has been made carefully to keep the book comprehensive and to safeguard the need of the students and common practitioners so that they make an accurate diagnosis leading to better patient outcome.
