by Bruno Lumbroso, Marco Rispoli, Maria Cristina Savastano

The aim of this practical handbook is to focus on the OCT (retina, choroid, glaucoma). Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is recognized all over the world as an indispensable device for diagnosis, assessment, and follow-up of retinal diseases and glaucoma in everyday clinical work and in research. This handbook’s new edition is divided into three sections. First section describes the logical method use for OCT imaging interpretation. Second section describes and update the structural OCT aspects of the most frequent retinal disorders and then of the less frequent retinal disorders. Third section reports the great advances that OCT has obtained in the clinical field: All the new syndromes, disorders, and diseases that OCT has revealed and precised and new classification that OCT has suggested. This handbook will help ophthalmologists, residents, ophthalmic technicians, orthoptists, and optometrists understand, analyze, and appreciate the complex imaging offered by OCT devices.
