The Textbook of Anatomy for BSc Nursing Students depicts basic concepts in anatomy mainly for nursing and paramedical students and as a foundation for the medical undergraduates too. It is a comprehensive compendium presenting the anatomical facts and concepts necessary to fully understand the three-dimensional dynamic structure of the human body. Topics discussed in anatomy include introduction to anatomical terms and organization of the human body, skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system, sensory organs, circulatory and lymphatic system, respiratory system, digestive system, the excretory system (urinary system), endocrine system, reproductive system, and appendix. A chapter on genetics is deliberately included for students who are preparing for PG entrance examination of different universities worldwide. In this book, approximately 650 diagrams (including radiographs and photographs) and 50 tables are added to make the subject interesting. Simple line diagrams of organs are added to learn the art of drawing. Photomicrographs of tissues will enable the student to learn histology easily. At the end of each chapter, questions are framed for self-assessment. Both descriptive and objective type questions are included.
