My Parents
Of all the clinical specialties, critical care medicine is the most complex. Arterial blood gas analysis plays a very important role in the evaluation and management of critically ill patients. This book does not aim to give complete theoretical knowledge of Arterial blood gases. However, it deals with the practical aspects in concise and clinically oriented manner. Common queries met in clinical practice are dealt in the form of case examples, with explanations. An exercise is given at the end, for quick assessment and revision.
This book will hopefully serve the consultants, junior doctors, nurses or other paramedical staffs as a reference guide and handy book providing rationales and solutions to most of the problems, encountered in clinical practice.
