Abstract

Abstract

The critical care of the elderly is understanding and providing the many needs of the elderly person and includes emotional, social, spiritual and psychological support to the patient and the family along with the primary medical management. By compassion we must evaluate and decide whether our goal is only critical care and associated technology or conservative pragmatic approach reflecting the values and the preferences of the dignified elderly population.
