Treatment of Tuberculosis is relatively straight forward once the diagnosis is made. There are set guidelines for treatment which if followed religiously provide excellent outcomes. However, there is a small group of cases which does not respond to the conventional treatment referred to as Multidrug resistant Tuberculosis. There are certain subtle clues that make the clinician suspicious of the condition. This chapter deals with the diagnosis and management of this devastating condition.
