Abstract

Drug induced dyskinesia is an important disorder which needs an early diagnosis and treatment. It is also an important issue in relation to medico legal point of view. The abnormal movement can start immediately after institution of a psychotropic drug or after a long latency and even can develop when patient has discontinued the drug. Early detection of movement abnormalities facilitates management and undertaking appropriate prevention and therapy.
