This chapter discusses research in hospital administration. Research is a systematic study to describe facts accurately to develop common principles, to put those principles into practice and finally evaluate the results\'. Research in hospital is conducted for the following purposes: develop new ways of methods and techniques of procedures; develop new knowledge about hospital, programs operations, people working in these activities, and application of techniques developed in the production industries or service industries, hospitality industries to hospital whether the technique can be applied in the healthcare organization or not. A pilot study is conducted to test the validity of tool. The basic purpose of report writing is to disseminate the information.
