MESSAGE
To Our Beloved Students
7PREFACE
On the occasion of publication of the present book Dissection Manual, Living and Cross-sectional Anatomy, we express our sincere gratitude to all our beloved students, colleagues, friends and teachers of the fraternity who have so heartily accepted and appreciated the earlier book Anatomy at a Glance in India as well as in China.
During our long association as teachers, we have constantly felt the need of a concise and comprehensive book on the practical aspects of anatomy like window dissection, cross-sectional and living anatomy.
Based on the feedback of our present and past students, this manual gives a step-by-step, lucid approach to the topics on dissection. Each topic being supplemented by several illustrative visual guidance, CD images, charts and tables and exam-oriented questions and answers. In every chapter, living and clinical anatomy are richly supported by relevant pictures and diagrams. The two pages facing format has been given for easy reference. We have also given the size of the instruments; so that the students do not face any problem during dissection.
We sincerely hope that apart from MBBS examinees, beckoners for the paramedics, nursing and postgraduate students, will benefit from book.
