Preface
Learning is a continuous process. It starts from the mother's womb. A child learns by reflex and reflex gives a child experience, those experiences make man, a man makes the society.
As the human being innovated stone to steel and to the computer navigated surgeries, we have seen tremendous development, generation by generation.
In the field of orthopedics itself plaster slabs, casts, nailing platting have given place to more advanced and sophisticated implants and surgical skills.
But, it is an old saying that old is gold, that still exist true to certain things like k-nail, k-wire and plaster of Paris.
Application of plaster cast has an ancient history. It has proven its strength and usefulness.8
