5Dedicated to
My parents and other elders in my family who have been a constant inspiration
A medical student has to complete the study of Biochemistry, Anatomy and Physiology in a short span of one year. It is possible that a meritorious student may not find it difficult to give proper justice to these subjects along with part of community medicine, but the average students face a daunting task to master the basic medical disciplines. Most of the books written in biochemistry and other subjects are quite vast and so there is a need to have a book incorportating the must-know areas in a question-answer format and in a concise manner. In addition to the must-know areas, the nice-to-know areas are also taken care of wherever necessary. The chapters on Statements and Comments and Case-based Learning Questions and Answers shall definitely stimulate self-learning and critical thinking in students. In short, the book upholds the applied aspects of Biochemistry, which the postgraduate students also would find fruitful.
