7Preface
This first edition of Textbook of Nursing Management in Service and Education is aimed to provide simple systematic textbook on nursing management in service and education for GNM, undergraduate and postgraduate students. As students felt difficulties to learn nursing management in service and education at various aspects, that aspired us to write the textbook that will cover a spectrum of subject in an advanced and concised manner.
This book is updated and is based on Indian Nursing Council syllabus which is specially organized for BSc nursing students, and it can be used as a reference book for MSc nursing students also. This edition contains eight chapters with annexures and explanations which will definitely meet the demands of nursing students.
Much effort and hard work has been taken by us to present the contents of this book in an easy manner to understand, learn and teach better. We have aimed to improve quality, knowledge and skills to manage nursing profession in simple form. We hope that this book will guide nursing students to apply the knowledge gained from this book in a better way in their future nursing life.
