I do not claim exclusive credit to this book. The most of the materials have been collected from professionals, journals, review articles, books, discussions and personal communication with people of different professions. While collecting, reviewing and compiling the materials, there are likely to be unintentional errors and inadvertent omissions. However, I have tried my best to make it perfect and regret for any inadvertent errors.

fm6Acknowledgments
I sincerely hope that this book will be useful for the graduate level health science students, who are inclined to strengthen their managerial skills in their profession. Even though the health science is a technical field, having a sound knowledge of the management makes the job much better and also makes students well equipped to deal with any situation that comes across their professional life. Management is a vital part of any institution from health to politics. Whoever has a strong managerial skill is always on top of everything. He/she not only helps to meet the organizational goals but also be able to inspire, motivate and keep high morale of the employees. No matter how knowledgeable a person is, bad management does not take much time to end the achievements achieved so far.
I am very much grateful and have respectful regards to:
Personally, I strongly urge health manpower to pay extra attention to health management. It is being usually overlooked. Ultimately, it hampers their professional growth and dampens their ambitions. I hope this book will fulfill some of the existing vacuum in health management. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome, so that I could make the book better in the forthcoming editions.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to KG Hospital and College's family and my son, Abhik Thapa, for their unending faith, understanding and support throughout this work. Similarly, I would also like to express my deep sense of gratitude to Raju Gurung, who helped me in different phases to write this book. With the enormous help and support from various dear and near ones, this book has come to existence. All deserve credit for their contributions.
fm7I would never have been able to finish this book without the ideas and support from my colleagues at the Yeti Health Science Academy and faculty members. I am equally grateful to my husband for his understanding while I took away so much of my family time to write this book.
Once again, I would like to express my thankfulness to those who helped me directly or indirectly to complete this book.
