Abstract

Diagnosis of using low energy x-rays is called mammography. The most commonly diagnosed lesions are circumscribes radiolucent lesion, mixed density lesion, radiopaque, phylloides tumor, post surgical scar, fat necrosis, breast abscess. The infections, diagnosis and treatment for few disorders to mention are lipoma which is usually solitary and found in older women, oil cyst usually single or multiple of 2-3 cm. Radiopaque is a simple cyst arising in female of 40 years or more in age with low soft tissue density mass often multiple and bilateral and 1–3 cm in diameter. Phylloides tumor with large, round, oval or polylobulated and sharply outlined lesion which can recur if not completely excised. Benign breast calcification is characterized by hollow spherical structure with a thin calcific rim and can occur in idiopathic fat necrosis small and several centimeters across.
