5Preface
This book is the outcome of firm devotion to help out all the nurses appearing licensure examination, Bachelor in Nursing, Tribhuvan University Service Commission's examinations for staff nurses and sisters, Loksewa examinations and various entrance examinations for job placements.
As a nursing practitioner, this is my second attempt to write a preparatory collection guide for the students of different levels of professional examination. I have faced the problem for searching books and collecting notes before giving the entrance examinations of various levels; this problem has energized me to bring out this book by integrating all the subjects in one, so that newcomers would not have problem for the collection of the books and other materials for examinations. Through this collection, I have incorporated almost all the subject matters essentials for all levels of examination.
Structurally, this book has been divided into 10 units and in additions of other materials needed for the examinations, covering all the theoretical aspects of nursing. The other thing is that this book is not only to attempt the examinations but also for updating the knowledge that have been studied before. I hope this will help the nurses to rank in good position in their profession.
