It gives me immense pleasure to complete the Textbook on Ward Management in Nursing Practice. First of all I would like to thank my Almighty God for showering his wonderful blessings on me that strengthened to complete the task.
Today nurse's role has expanded and extended to different levels, where nurse is posted as nurse leader, nurse administrator, nursing director, chief nurse officer, nurse entrepreneur, ward manager, etc., there is a wide shift from basic care giver role to nurse leader. Therefore, there is a need for nurses to upgrade the management knowledge and skills.
This book is prepared to develop ward management skills among nursing students and nurses working in the hospital and other various set-ups. This book has 6 sections with 50 chapters written in simple language; illustrated with adequate diagrams and tables the book helps the nursing student as well as nursing staff to grasp the content and inculcate the gained knowledge to nursing practice. This book helps the nurse manage any kind of critical situations of nursing care. Through this book each and every nursing student and staff will develop comprehensive nursing skills to manage ward situation effectively.
