Foreword
It gives me a grand delight in introducing and commending the second edition of the book. I am convinced that the work will be of immense help and efficacy not only to those who are related to nursing but also to common public. In presenting this text to the occupation, a precious contribution has been made to the nursing literature. On the scholastic facade, the book endeavors to assist the learners. The students will find it fairly enhanced and improved than the other books. It has detailed information to comprehend English, which would help to uphold high standard of the language. Well, it is my ardent anticipation that this book will smoothen the progress of the readers to perquisite their communication.

Preface to the Second Edition
I am very happy to introduce the second edition of this book. This book deals with grammar which includes topics like parts of speech, modal, etc. There are also chapters on resume writing and notes-taking. Every attempt has been made to make study appealing and comprehensible. The book deals chiefly with different types of composition such as letter writing, paragraph writing, etc. The language is easy and the presentation is clear and logical unlike many traditional grammar books. The book in the present form will help the students in better understanding of the language. In order to limit the size of the book, the text has been kept concise and easily understandable. In spite of my best efforts, the book is bound to have deficiencies. I will be grateful if the readers kindly send their valuable suggestions to improve the efficacy of the book.
