This chapter deals with the various, common diseases that affect the eye and its adnexa. The chapter opens with history taking. Lids swelling, blepharitis, inflammation of lids, conjunctiva, cornea and sclera are mentioned in brief. Uveitis, lens opacities, glaucoma and retinal diseases are other topics covered. Squint and refraction are detailed. Especially the role of nurse in the management of the various diseases of eye and ocular adnexa is described clearly. The chapter is well illustrated.
