It gives us immense pleasure to present to you the CSI Cardiology Update 2016 on the eve of Annual Scientific Conference. Cardiology Update book has undergone a sea change in the last few years and our predecessors have presented to you books of immense value. Therefore, it was a daunting task, to match the standards of previous years and yet offer new topics. We have touched topics not addressed in the previous few years. The present book includes articles from the leading experts in the field of cardiology from India and overseas. These articles not only reflect the data but also allow implications of the data in Indian scenario. This will be very useful in clinical practice. A special section addresses some of the drugs available in the Indian markets for cardiovascular disorders which either are poorly understood or not used frequently. Indian experts have worked hard to define their place in therapeutics in best possible way in the How do I use section of the book.
You will find, our titles very suggestive and topics very interesting. We have purposefully kept the book smaller to allow easy handling yet keeping it very comprehensive.
Our team of editorial consultants have put in immense work to design the topics of relevance as well as to identify suitable contributors for each of the topics.
