About Video

In this video self-retaining twinlight source was used instead of routine handheld endoillumination system. Diabetic retinal detachment requires more of scissor dissection instead of direct peeling of membranes as retina is ischemic. Direct membrane peeling can result in iatrogenic retinal breaks which can be avoided by bimanual dissection with the use of scissors forceps.
