PFCL is used to displace the submacular blood clot after doing vitrectomy. It is then aspirated through a peripheral retinotomy as in this case it is done with silicon tip cannula. Laser retinopexy is done around the retinotomy and the surgery is completed with PFCL-fluid-air exchange.
