About Video

This video demonstrates the technique of deep sclerectomy with MICS. Following coaxial 1.8 mm phacoemulsification and in the bag PCIOL implantation, a conjunctival and partial thickness scleral flap is made. A deeper scleral flap is then made. A trabeculodescemetic window is created and the Schlemm’s canal deroofed. The deep scleral flap is cut and the scleral and conjunctival flaps are then sutured.
