The goal of cataract surgery has been to decrease the incision size. Now it is possible to perform through only two 0.7 mm incisions. This is very important while performing this technique that we discovered fluidics improve a lot because we are spending only 40-50 cc of BSS in one case. This is because the small diameter of the irrigation cannula and the closed environment in which we are working because of small and tight incisions.
