About Video

A tip graft will also produce tip projection. A flat shield-shaped graft is used, which is notched at the center, leaving the corners 6 to 8 mm apart to form two tip-defining points. Shield grafts have to be secured by suturing, and for these reasons, these are best used during an ‘open’ rhinoplasty procedure. The video demonstrates the use of the same.
