This video shows a case study of woman presenting dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB). It is irregular uterine bleeding that occurs in the absence of recognizable pelvic pathology, general medical disease, or pregnancy. History of presenting complains, past history, obstetric history and menstrual history of that woman are provided along with different clinical examinations. Results of various investigations in this patient are shown along with the normal values of investigations results. Endometrial sampling is performed in this case to rule out the presence of intrauterine pathology. The results of histopathological examination revealed a normal secretory endometrium. This video demonstrates the procedure of endometrial aspiration. She was prescribed with combined oral contraceptive pills and oral hematinic agents. Age, fertility requirements, severity of the problem and its duration, and presence of debilitating symptoms are the various factors that are consider before deciding the management of these patients.
