This video shows a case study of woman presenting a problem of infertility. Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive or carry a pregnancy to term after 12 months of trying to conceive. Causes of infertility can be multifactorial, a systematic approach is typically used in patients with infertility and involves testing of male factor, ovulatory factor, and uterotubal factor. History of presenting complains, sexual history, partner’s history, menstrual history and medical history of that woman are provided along with different clinical examinations. This video demonstrates and explains modified Ferriman and Gallwey scoring system in detail. Pelvic ultrasound examination, serum progesterone levels on day 21, serum LH:FSH ratio, fasting glucose levels and serum testosterone levels are the investigations which are advised in this case. This video also presents the steps which are carried out for diagnosis and treatment of the woman.
