About Video

This video shows subcutaneous ulnar nerve transposition. If the ulnar nerve is transposed, following the decompression we elect to harvest a 5 mm width strip of the distal 5 cm of the intermuscular septum and use this to secure the nerve. The nerve is brought to lie anterior to the epicondyle and over the flexor-pronator mass. The intermuscular sling is secured using simple 3-0 Vicryl stitches.
