About Video

In this video clip shows the Nyquist limit has been reduced below the standardized range and is kept at 23 cm/s without change in color gain. This increased the TR jet area and hence a low Nyquist limit can lead to overestimation of regurgitation severity. Similar to increase in color gain, a marked reduction in the Nyquist limit may also result in color Doppler signals extending beyond the cardiac chambers (arrowheads). (LA: Left atrium).
