This video clip shows two-dimensional transthoracic echocardiography. Apical four-chamber views in a 86-year-old female patient with amyloidosis. All chamber walls are echogenic and markedly hypokinetic due to the infiltrative process. The ventricular walls appear thickened because of amyloid deposition, not hypertrophy.
