This video recording is from an older individual. The head of the patient is towards the observer's right side. The sound recording shows a short systolic murmur followed by sharp sound which is the second heart sound (S2). The descent is best seen in this patient more anteriorly and medial to the sternomastoid edge. It is a single downward movement coinciding with the S2. It is therefore systolic and x' descent.
