This video is a recording from a patient with aortic valve prosthesis. The mechanical valve closure sound is sharp and represents the S2. The jugular pulsations show a single descent. This begins to fall after the S2. It is therefore a single diastolic descent (y descent). Therefore the jugular contour is abnormal.
