The BC-FMT is placed in the sinodural angle, the reference points being the spine of Henle, the temporal line and the tip of the mastoid. Usually it is as close as possible to the EAC and the temporal line. If the BC-FMT is placed behind the sinus, the attachment of the digastric muscle and the mastoid tip are reference points.
