About Video

This video clip shows apical 4-chamber view in a patient with previous myocardial infarction. Left ventricular apex and distal parts of mid-inferoseptal and mid-anterolateral segments are akinetic, consistent with involvement of the left anterior descending coronary artery. Left ventricular apical thrombus is also present.
