For beginning- and intermediate-level physicians to start their FUE cases with a manual punch system for the first 5 minutes of donor harvesting (Video 9). With the use of a manual punch system in the early phase of donor harvesting, the novice or intermediate FUE physician operator cultivates the mindset and focus required for FUE donor harvesting. New physicians will be better able to visualize hair directions, groupings, and exit angles during the donor harvesting of grafts. The manual punch system also allows the physician to establish the ideal depth of punch penetration of the sharp circular punch.
