by Navin C NandaNormal heart 4D volume rendered images in a middle aged patient evaluated with retrospective gated chest CT. The volume rendered images are good to evaluate any major morphologic abnormality such as anomalous coronary artery or congenital heart disease. However they are not suitable to evaluate for coronary artery stenosis. The coronary arteries in this patient are arising normally from their respective cusps and demonstrate no disease.
