This video clip depicts two-dimensional transthoracic echocardiography: apical four-chamber view and ventricular septal aneurysm. Color Doppler examination of the upper arrowhead shows the aneurysm, and the lower arrowhead points to flow signals moving into the right ventricle (RV) through a small defect in the aneurysm. (LA: Left atrium; LV: Left ventricle; MV: Mitral valve; RA: Right atrium).
