This video clip showing two-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography of left atrial myxoma. The arrow points to a golf ball like myxoma in the left atrium. The patient was a nurse who had initially helped Dr. Nanda learn to perform esophageal intubation in the gastro-intestinal division of our institution. The myxoma was successfully resected. (AO: Aorta; LA: Left atrium; LV: Left ventricle; RA: Right atrium; RV: Right ventricle).
