About Video

Live/real-time three-dimensional transthoracic echocardiography in a 62-year-old male with pericardial effusion developing following mitral valve replacement. Arrowheads point to fibrinous strands connecting the visceral and parietal portions of the pericardium. This video clip show both mobile and nonmobile fibrin strands. This video clip shows cropping done using the Qlab software analysis package.
