This video demonstrates Cordes technique, the fetal position within the uterus is determined and a short axis of the fetal chest is obtained with the fetal head on the right of the screen. Fetal heart and cardiac apex to the right of the fetal spine in this technique indicate levocardia. Situs can also be cross-checked with the second technique demonstrated in this video.
