The peritoneal envelope is demonstrated in in this video. Mobilization of intraperitoneal contents with an intact peritoneal envelope during extraperitoneal retroperitoneal lymph node dissection (RPLND). Preserved peritoneal envelope using the open extraperitoneal approach. The linea alba incision is extended superiorly as the peritoneum is released from underneath the ribs.
