This video showing the technique of phacofragmentation surgery. In this video standard 23G pars plana ports and triamcinolone assisted posterior vitreous detachment with dropped nucleus matter in vitreous. Complete peripheral vitrectomy and injection of perfluorocarbon liquid. Sclerotomy being enlarged to accomodate the 20 G phacofragmatome. Impaled phaco tip into lens matter during phacofragmentation.
