This video highlights strabismus patients operated with adjustable sutures. The noose should be tied as tight as possible to prevent inadvertent slippage. Assure the patient is sufficiently alert for adjustment. Don’t ignore the original numbers. Know when to stop adjustment. Short tag noose technique is useful for children as it avoids the need for sedation in those with satisfactory postoperative alignment.
