About Video

Endometrial resection begins around the tubal ostia. This region is the more delicate as the myometrium is at its thinnest (0 seconds – 20 seconds). The endometrium around the right ostium is resected by means of successive short cuts (24 seconds – 44 seconds). Same manoeuvre is performed in the left ostium (45 seconds – 1 minute 10 seconds). The resection of the region between the tubal ostia, are carefully completed by means of short cuts of the loop (1 minute 10 seconds – 1 minute 20 seconds). Left side endometrium is now resected (1 minute 20 seconds – 1 minute 30 seconds). The posterior face is the easiest region to resect as it corresponds to the natural passage of the loop (1 minute 30 seconds – 2 minutes). In the deep of the furrows, myometrial tissue is easily appreciated (2 minutes – 2 minutes 25 seconds). Now it’s the turn of the anterior face. The loop is deeply inserted into the endometrium. The myometrium is to be reached as is clearly demonstrated in the clip (2 minutes 30 seconds – 3 minutes). Finally, remaining endometrium is resected. It’s time for haemostasis, directly applying the loop on the bleeding vessels with coagulation current (3 minutes – 3 minutes 20 seconds). Final result of the intervention (3 minutes 20 seconds — 3 minutes 32 seconds).
