About Video

This case is a 36-years-old female patient. Her 2 FTVD, family completed. In this video presents very big solid abdominal mass. Patient laid in modified lithotomy position under GA. Five ports laparoscopy under GA in modified lithotomy position. All 5 mm ports except camera port which is 10 mm. Huge firm mass seen occupying the whole abdomen and attached to uterus through ovarian ligament suggestive of fibroma of left ovary. No surface excrescences noted. Yellow discoloration noted at one site. After taking consent left salpingo-oophorectomy proceeded. Using vessel sealer infundibulopelvic ligament coagulated and cut and then mesosalpinx tackled with harmonic ACE. At the end ovarian ligament coagulated and cut with harmonic ACE and mass was freed from uterus. Due to its presumed benign nature (by preoperative investigations and intraoperatively findings), morcellation done and tissue sent for HPE.
