About Video

After initial anterior vitrectomy, core vitrectomy is to be performed, keeping the cutting rate a little on the lower side (3500–4000 cpm) with higher suction (300–400 mm Hg) for fast removal of vitreous. For peripheral vitrectomy, shave mode of the machine is preferable, keeping highest cut rate (5000 or 7500 cpm) and lower suction (<200 mm Hg).
