About Video

Membrane peeling should be carried out from posterior to anterior retina. Signs of presence of membranes include obscuration of retinal vessels or a soft gray appearance of the retina. Again fixed folds can be released in these following ways by forceps: Starfold membranes are engaged by stripping towards the center of radiating fold. There is redundant retina obscured within the fold of retina, beneath the membrane. Sub PFCL membrane peeling: after PVD induction, all fixed folds have to be released by peeling membranes at the fixed folds with forceps. Residual fixed folds have to be released after injecting heavy fluid PFCL and doing membrane peeling under PFCL to make retina tractionless.
