About Video

This video showing retinal detachment with dropped IOL. A case of dropped PCIOL with total retinal detachment with multiple HSTs and vitrectomy was done. Triamcinolone was injected to check residual vitreous adhesions with IOL. Now passive suction of a silicone-tipped backflush needle was used to lift up the IOL up to pupillary plane. Then IOL was prolapsed into the AC with the help of an end gripping forceps and then removed. Vitreous base excision was done. Breaks were cauterized and fluid-air exchange was done. All peripheral breaks were barraged as well as 360° periphery and silicone oil was injected as the tamponade.
