About Video

This video demonstrates retinal detachment with fundal coloboma with breaks at margin of coloboma. Fundal coloboma involved both optic disc and macula. Vitrectomy done. A break was identified within the colobomatous area near inferior coloboma margin. A separate retinotomy was made and fluid-air exchange was performed. Laser was done around the breaks, at the margin as well as 360° periphery. Silicone oil was used for tamponade.
