About Video

This video is a case of temporal giant retinal tear with macula-off subtotal retinal detachment. Vitrectomy completed. PFCL injected up to the posterior margin of giant retinal tear. Vitreous base excision done, trimming anterior retinal flap as well as the margin of giant retinal tear. Fluid-air exchange started to drain anterior subretinal fluid. As giant retinal tear margin sagged down, more PFCL injected beyond the margin of giant retinal tear. Laser started at the margin of giant retinal tear, considering the cornus. PFCL-silicone oil exchange done, injecting silicone oil in left hand and removing PFCL with right hand.
